THE STORY
This recipe was inspired by Julia who is a client/friend. Julia makes homemade natural juices for her family. Everytime I visit there is always a different flavored homemade juice that she always generously shares with me. I love her fruit juice combos. As a matter of fact, I can't recall a when I didn't like her concoctions.
Not too long ago, Julia made strawberry lemonade. It just so happens I walked in at the right time as she was making a fresh batch :-). It was a hot day in Miami and I was thiiiirsty... Needless to say I had a glass of her delicious lemonade. When I tell you that juice HIT the SPOT, it hit the SPOT! So here's my version, instead of using lemons, I'm using Key limes. Hopefully you can find Key limes at your local grocery store or farmers market.

What you'll need:
A box of fresh strawberries ( about 15 )
1/2 to a cup of Brown sugar ( depending on how sweet you like your juice )
A bag of key limes
6 cups of Water
Ninja
Pitcher
Preparation
Roll the key limes on the counter with the palm of your hand. Roll it back and forth. This will make the limes nice and juicy when you're ready to squeeze the juice out.
Remove the leafy part of the strawberries. Rinse the strawberries, and slice them in half.

Directions
Cut the key limes in half. Extract the juice and remove the seeds
Pour the strawberries and half cup of Brown sugar into the Ninja or blender and purée
In a Pitcher Mix water, puréed strawberry mixture, key lime juice and stir. Taste to see if it's sweet enough for you, if not, add more sugar and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add ice and serve
**optional** Add chopped strawberries
